Hi my name is Hannah, I'm the oldest of 3- with my younger brothers being twins and both autistic. Growing up in a SEN-focused household taught me patience, resilience and a deep understanding of how differently children can experience the world. From a young age, I saw the challenges my brothers faced and it opened my eyes to how much support, kindness and understanding some children- and their families- truly need. my mum also had friends whose children had additional needs, so I grew up surrounded by a community where compassion and awareness were part of everyday life. That environment shaped me and it's a big part of why I naturally connect so well with children today.
I've always been drawn to childcare and as I grew older, that feeling grew stronger. Watching my brothers grow up made it clear to me that I wanted to pursue a career where I could help children feel safe, supported and understood- no matter what their needs are.
My love for animals started just as early. My family had dogs for as long as I could remember, but everything changed when I got my first dog Rosie at 5 years old. She completely stole my heart ! I always loved animals, but Rosie showed me what unconditional love really meant- and what true responsibility was. Losing Rosie in 2021- after 10 spectacular years- was one of the hardest things I've ever been through, and there isn't a day I don't miss my girl. Our french bulldog now brings a different kind of joy and fills our home with so much personality- and she has become my sister and my girl just like Rosie was and will forever be.
My connection with animals is a huge part of who I am and it's one of the reasons I chose to include pet care to share the same love, patience and comfort that I gave- and received- from my own. Helping families feel completely at ease with their pets and children in safe hands is something I take great pride in.
At the heart of everything I do is genuine care, understanding and a desire to make life easier for the families I support- human and furry. My experiences growing up shaped me into the person I am today and they continue to guide the way I work with every child, pet and household I look after.
